WFDD has joined the public broadcasting community to support this vital program to improve high school graduation rates in our listening area. Regionally, we've seen improvements in graduation statistics, but for students in the Piedmont Triad to be competitive in an increasingly global job market we must continue to improve.

High school dropouts cost the nation 944 billion dollars a year in lost tax revenue. In our state, that amount is 169 million dollars.
