Triad Arts Weekend: Twin City Stage combines tons of great music by Elvis, a pinch of Shakespeare, some 50s dance moves, and a full rock and roll band in its exciting production of All Shook Up. Bob Moody and the Winston-Salem Symphony will share their virtuosity with a concert featuring Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 2, Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings and Chris Thile's (of Nickel Creek) brand new Concerto for Mandolin. And The Lexington Youth Theatre is off to find the Who people in Seussical the Musical.

It broadcasts news, information, and public affairs programming covering the arts, people, and institutions in the area from both its Winston-Salem and Greensboro studios.

The state's charter NPR® member, 88.5 WFDD is the longest continuously broadcasting public radio station in North Carolina. It is a member of the North Carolina Public Radio Association.
