Day Sponsorships

An 88.5 WFDD Day Sponsorship is a great way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or other special day.

Your message will be read on the air five times on the day of your choice!

If you have already made the minimum Day Sponsorship contribution of $200, you can click here to submit your date choice and message.

You can also submit your date choice and message when you make a gift of support online.

Please note that WFDD must receive Day Sponsorship requests at least two weeks in advance. The purpose of the Day Sponsorship is the acknowledgement of special events or people, not business advertising or the expression of ideological, theological or political opinions.

The Public Radio Society

The Public Radio Society is a group of individuals who believe in the mission and values of Public Radio and wish to support 88.5 WFDD with an annual fiscal year contribution of $1,000 or more.

Benefits of membership in the Public Radio Society include:

· Four Day Sponsor Messages annually, including recognition of Public Radio Society Membership. "Thanks to Day Sponsor and Public Radio Society Member Joe Smith ..."

· First notification of upcoming station-sponsored events

· Listing on WFDD's Public Radio Society web page

88.5 WFDD, the NPR® news and Triad Arts station broadcasting from Wake Forest University, is the only public radio station of its kind located in the Piedmont Triad. It broadcasts news, information, and public affairs programming covering the arts, people, and institutions in the area from both its Winston-Salem and Greensboro studios.

The state's charter NPR® member, 88.5 WFDD is the longest continuously broadcasting public radio station in North Carolina. It is a member of the North Carolina Public Radio Association.
