Shooting Confirmed at Carver High School: Students & Parents Comfort Each Other

BREAKING NEWS:  Authorities have confirmed a shooting at a Winston-Salem high school and that a suspect is in custody. Winston-Salem-Forsyth County Schools spokesman Theo Helm says the shooting occurred at Carver High School, which is on the city's northeast side.

The Sawtooth School for Visual Art has been leading the way in the Piedmont Triad for nearly 70 years, providing art classes for all ages taught by award-winning teachers and participating artists in ceramics, drawing and painting, glass, metals and much more. Registration for Sawtooth’s Fall semester  is well underway. Classes begin September 16th.
