Pianist Pamela Howland and Artist Wendell Myers Celebrate Chopin's Birthday

Night Music will feature pianist Pamela Howland and artist Wendell Myers.

Pamela Howland is a pianist, her husband Wendell Myers is a painter. This week they’ll combine artistic forces to celebrate Chopin Birthday Festival from Warsaw to Winston-Salem, bringing the year’s old tradition from Chopin’s homeland to the Triad. On Friday it’s Night Music Part 2, a unique concert with Pam playing selections from her new CD of  Frederick Chopin’s Nocturnes 11 through 19, and a painting exhibition of Wendell’s 8 nocturne-inspired works.

Outreach is Key as ACA Deadline Approaches

Health care navigators and providers are reaching out to the public as the March 31 deadline for the state Health Exchange approaches. North Carolinians who are uninsured must enroll through the Health Insurance Marketplace by the end of next month.
