The Music Academy of NC (MANC) is a nonprofit community music school in Greensboro. Each week the faculty members there guide more than 1,000 students of all ages and ability levels to realize and express their inherent talents. Associate Master Teacher and Dean of Faculty Christy Wisuthseriwong says the majority of MANC's 40 exceptional faculty has advanced degrees. They're carefully screened through mock lessons to ensure that they communicate easily with 7 year olds and 70 year old alike. Christy was joined by Director of Community Engagement and Chair of the Voice Faculty Stephanie Foley Davis.

We've been sampling from music performed by their colleagues at the Academy, and you can hear them live during MANC's Second Annual Artists Faculty Concert Series. It continues Friday night at 7:30 PM with Aaron Mood and Samee Griffith-Mood performing piano for four hands at the Academy in Greensboro.

The Music Academy of North Carolina is also participating in a Power2Give project, and you can learn more about it here.
