Adam Bennett

Adam Bennett got his start at WFDD as a volunteer in the Spring of 2017 and came on board as a staff member shortly thereafter.

A native of Nebraska, Adam earned a Social Science Education degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney before relocating to North Carolina in 2009.

He's spent time as the voice you hear during midday breaks on weekdays, as well as hosting on Sunday afternoons and evenings. Adam also creates many of the announcements and testimonials that you hear every day on WFDD.

In August of 2020, Adam took on the dual role of Listener and Donor Services Coordinator/Production Manager. In addition to continuing his production duties, he handles many of the day-to-day financial transactions and works with listeners to answer questions and concerns that may arise.

Adam has been a supporter of public radio for many years because he admires the sense of community it fosters and he believes that strong journalism is essential in keeping the public informed and educated.
