Piedmont Plein Air Paintout

The Piedmont Plein Air Paintout is taking place next weekend in High Point. Plein air, when translated from French means “in the open air.” A fitting title as this event features 30 nationally known artists painting outdoor scenes in five locations around High Point. It begins next Thursday September 17th with a "quick paint" and ends on Sunday September 20th. That's when the public is invited to come see the artwork at the J.H. Adams Inn produced throughout the 4-day event.

Festival organizer Julie Delgaudio & participating artist Harold Frontz spoke with David Ford before last year's paintout.
