While the United States is one nation, many of her citizens have a different view of what she represents.

Tuesday, November 5, some people across the United States will exercise their right to vote. Many believe this right is a key part of what it means to be an American. However, Justin Maxwell says this country is made up of an array of people who all have different visions of this nation. But at the end of the day, he says each one is valuable. Maxwell is a 16-year-old sophomore at R.J. Reynolds High School. He's a writer, a social activist, a participates in Authoring Action and has spoken at several rallies across the South. This Friday, November 8, he'll speak during one of Authoring Action's fundraising events.
