Closings and Delays for Thursday, January 30

The following schools and organizations have reported weather-related delays and closures for Thursday, January 30th:

--Alamance-Burlington Schools Closed for students, optional teacher workday.

--Davidson County Schools Closed, Employee Code D

--Elkin City Schools will be closed, optional teacher workday.

--The Enrichment Center will open at 10 a.m.

--Forsyth Country Day School will be closed.

--Forsyth County Meals on Wheels closed. Participants should use emergency meals.

--Forsyth Technical Community College will open at 10 a.m.

--Galax City Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay.

--Greensboro Day School will operate on a 2-hour delay.

--Guilford County Schools will be closed. Optional teacher workday for school staff. Central offices will operate on a regular basis.

--Guilford Technical Community College will open at 10 a.m.

--NC A&T will open at 10 a.m.

--Rockingham County Schools will be closed. Optional teacher workday, report at 10 a.m.

--Salem Montessori School will be closed.

--Stokes County Schools will be closed. Employee code A.

--Summit School will operate on a 2-hour delay.

--UNC School of the Arts will open at 10 a.m.

--UNC School of the Arts Community Music School will be closed.

--Wake Forest University will open at 10 a.m.; Black and Gold Shuttle Lines will begin running at 9:20 a.m.

--Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools will be closed. Optional teacher workday.
