David Hagy Conducts and Performs with the Salisbury Symphony

David Hagy, Salisbury Symphony and Wake Forest University Orchestra Conductor.
David Hagy, Salisbury Symphony and Wake Forest University Orchestra Conductor.
David Hagy is a true double threat. As a conductor he leads the Wake Forest University Orchestra and Salisbury Symphony, but he’s also a violinist.

This Saturday, May 18th at 7:30 pm in Keppel Auditorium on the Catawba College campus, David will step down from the conductor’s podium and join Salisbury Symphony concertmaster Daniel Skidmore in a performance of Bach’s Double Concerto for two violins. In fact, this Saturday David wants to double (and triple) your fun with a pops concert featuring multiple soloists from Bach to Bugler’s Holiday. David spoke with David Ford recently by phone from his studio in Salisbury about this unusual concert.
