Greensboro Montessori Students Will Moderate Forum for 6th Congressional Republican Nomination

Middle School students at Greensboro Montessori are getting some hands-on experience in political science.

On Wednesday, April 2, they will host a political forum on campus that will feature candidates running for the Republican nomination in the 6th Congressional district. Rhea Egbert, director of admission and marketing at the school, says  eight out of nine candidates have confirmed their attendance for the event.

Egbert says 39 students are participating in the forum.  Over the past several weeks, they have been busy researching and crafting their own questions to ask the Congressional candidates.

The political forum is free and open to the public. The event will take place Wednesday at 10 a.m. on the school's campus at 2856 Horse Pen Creek Road.

Rhys Ireland, Lee Dunn and Lana Torres are excited about hosting and moderating the political forum at their school.
