Just When You Thought It Was Safe To Answer the Phone

You think the dark shadows of Halloween spirits are scary?  Beware of that next phone call.

Across the United States this week, costumed Americans of all ages are haunting their communities and collecting tasty treats in the process. Halloween is October 31.

The season of haunted houses, eerie costumes and spine chilling screams is upon us. Thursday is Halloween.
But in this segment of Real People, Real Stories, guest commentator Steve Lindsley says there's another kind of horror out there, one more frightening than ghosts or goblins. Lindsley is the pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Mount Airy. He also lives there with his wife and two sons.

Steve Lindsley survives a true horror story.
