The Tale of Two Tobacco Giants & Two Triad Cities

In this week’s Business Report, a team of reporters from the Triad Business Journal is taking a closer look at the possible merger between  Reynolds American & Lorillard Tobacco Co. and the impact the merger could have on the Triad.

The city of Winston-Salem and community partners are finding new uses for the former R.J. Reynolds Tobacco manufacturing plant in Winston-Salem. The site has been redeveloped and now houses Wake Forest Innovation Quarter. Reynolds American's corporate headquarters are located in downtown Winston-Salem.
