UNCG Concert is a Collage of the Arts

Imagine setting your entire iPhone music library to shuffle mode and experiencing it live! Next add visual arts, elaborate lighting design elements, dance, and stagecraft, and you’re all set for a human surround sound system like you’ve never experienced before. The University of NC Greensboro School of Music, Theatre and Dance present their annual Collage Concert. Saturday, September 7th, at 7:30PM in Aycock Auditorium, on the UNCG campus. Each year this dynamic concert showcasing the breadth and quality of the school raises $15 thousand in scholarship funds for talented students who otherwise might not be able to attend UNCG. Collage 2013 will include more than 300 students and dozens of faculty. Associate Director of Bands and Director of Orchestral Activities Kevin Geraldi, and Assistant Professor of Choral Music, Carole Ott spoke with David Ford about the concert.
