What: 21st Annual Hospice Taste of the Town
Hospice Taste of the Town is Hospice of the Piedmont’s primary annual fundraiser, featuring approximately 50 area restaurants, caterers, and beverage vendors sampling their best, live musical entertainment, children’s area, and a large silent auction
Where: Showplace in downtown High Point, 211 E. Commerce Ave.

What: Women's Health Care Speak-Out
Our goal is to engage women from our area in demonstrating the critical need for national action on health reform this year. Women from all walks of life are invited to share related personal stories.

It broadcasts news, information, and public affairs programming covering the arts, people, and institutions in the area from both its Winston-Salem and Greensboro studios.
The state's charter NPR® member, 88.5 WFDD is the longest continuously broadcasting public radio station in North Carolina. It is a member of the North Carolina Public Radio Association.
