The fading glow of Christmas toys Monday, December 14th, 2009
Too often Christmas toys are quickly abandoned soon after being unwrapped. On today's Real People Real Stories, Guest Commentator Lorraine Ahearn reveals why. Lorraine Ahearn is a national award winning columnist, receiving the Casey Medal for Distinguished Commentary on Family and Child Advocacy issues and the Mark Twain Award for Investigative Reporting. She's also the author of, The Man who became Santa Clause and other Winter Tales. This is her first book and it's a collection of her original essays as a columnist at the Greensboro News & Record.
