Growing A Farm Wife

StoryLine gives voice to everyday people throughout our community as they share the experiences that shape their lives. Jean Spencer was born, raised and built her life on the farmlands of Des Moines, Iowa. Recently, she moved to Winston-Salem after her husband died. In this segment, Jean talks with her daughter, Rosemary Van Schooten, and shares some funny memories of living on the farm. StoryLine is a project of the ECHO network and is made possible by the generosity of Salemtowne, a continuing care retirement community, where every life shines and stories are celebrated.
