Sunday, Jan 31, 2010: Risking It All For A Better Life
Welcome to StoryLine … where everyday people throughout our community share experiences that have shaped their lives.
One Mexican immigrant and a parishioner at El Buen Pastor Church talks about her horrific experience of illegally crossing a border into the United States with her children.
She chose not to identify herself to ensure her own safety and that of her family.
While she says crossing the border in this fashion was painful and frightening, but she believes the experience has spiritually strengthened her.
Storyline is a project of the ECHO Council, dedicated to building trusting relationships in our community. StoryLine….Make the connection.
Each week on Real People, Real Stories, 88.5 WFDD brings you the thoughts and perspectives of North Carolinians who are staying connected with the community and the world.
