The Touring Theatre of North Carolina’s Chamber Series continues with Over the Edge, a collection of short stories by award-winning Triad authors Quinn Dalton, Michael Parker and Pamela Duncan. The stories are adapted for the stage and performed by Touring Theatre’s core artists: John Kernodle, Kay Thomas and actor, director, producer Camilla Millican. Camilla spoke with me about the two Quinn Dalton short stories she’ll be performing as part of Over the Edge.

Guilford College and Josephus Present "The New Black", an Evening of Dance and Spoken Word

"The New Black" is Triad story-telling at its finest. It features an 11 person cast with 3 piece band, dancers, poets and singers whose spoken word poetry, original dance, live music and song are designed to move your spirit. For Sentimental Reasons is the Greensboro Symphony’s answer to the annual dilemma what to do for Valentine’s Day. This year they’ve invited New York’s hottest jazz guitarist, John Pizzarelli, and his wife, singer and Broadway actress Jessica Molaskey, to join the orchestra in a unique evening of American classics and songs from the Broadway stage. Press 53's 100th Title, In a World of Small Truths By Ray Morrison

Press 53 is an award-winning independent publisher of poetry and short story collections based in Winston-Salem. It opened its doors in October of 2005 and in 2012 published its 100th title: In a World of Small Truths, by Ray Morrison. Ray spent much of his childhood in Brooklyn, but headed south soon after college, earned his degree in veterinary medicine, and happily settled in Winston-Salem, with his wife and three children.
