Friday, Feb 3, 2012: Ethan Albright
Ethan Albright grew up in Greensboro and one of his dreams was to play in the NFL. Years later, he made it into the league and for 17 years, he was the long snapper for the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, Washington Redskins, Green Bay Packers and San Diego Chargers. He also played on the winning 2007 Pro Bowl team, the National Football Conference. Iin 2010, Ethan retired and returned to Greensboro with his wife and four children. Now he's coaching youth in tball, football, baseball, softball and basketball through the Greensboro Park and Rec Division.

It broadcasts news, information, and public affairs programming covering the arts, people, and institutions in the area from both its Winston-Salem and Greensboro studios.
The state's charter NPR® member, 88.5 WFDD is the longest continuously broadcasting public radio station in North Carolina. It is a member of the North Carolina Public Radio Association.
