Rosemary Harris' theatrical career spans more than 60 years, commanding stages in England and here in the states, including on Broadway. She's highly decorated for her craft, receiving a Tony for Best Actress in Lion in Winter, two Emmy's for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series, a Golden Globe for Best Television Actress in a Drama, an Obie and several Drama Desk Awards. Ms. Harris is also in the American Theatre Hall of Fame. And this week in New York City, the group honored her for 'sustained career achievement'. The state's charter NPR® member, 88.5 WFDD is the longest continuously broadcasting public radio station in North Carolina. It is a member of the North Carolina Public Radio Association.
