She and her husband were told she couldn't give birth, so they adopted two children from the Republic of Georgia. The experience compelled her to quit her job and organize humanitarian efforts to benefit these orphaned children -- all voluntarily. Two years ago, Robin Sizemore founded Hopscotch Adoptions, a full service agency specializing in international adoptions of children from the Republic of Georgia, Armenia, Bulgaria and Ghana.
Now Hopscotch Adoptions has placed 2 Armenian down syndrome babies with American families and have matched 7 others with families...pending court approval. Their website is hopscotchadoptions.com.
And four years ago, the family got a happy surprise ... Robin gave birth to a son,Reese.
