Friday, Apr 10, 2009: Dr. Johnnetta Cole
During April Voices and Viewpoints with host Denise Franklin is celebrating 7 years of bringing you thought provoking conversations with dynamic Piedmont residents--your neighbors.
This week...we'll revisit our conversation with Dr. Johnnetta Cole---an anthropologist, professor and social activist who says one of her missions is to remind people there is only one race.
Dr. Cole is the former president of Bennett College for Women and Spelman College, our nations only historically black colleges for women.
Dr. Cole is now the director of the Museum of African Art in Washinton, D.C. It's one of the Smithsonian Institution museums
