This month--Voices & Viewpoints is celebrating 7 years of bringing you engaging conversations with your Piedmont neighbors—whose impact is felt in the U-S and around the world.

This week..Denise sits down with Michelle Welborn. Her youngest daughter, Lilly, has a rare form of genetic epilepsy. And it's transformed Michelle into an international advocate for a cure. Michelle is also the founder of ICEpilepsy--a non profit group dedicated to furthering research and education about genetic based epilepsy. Lean more about ICE at icepilepsy.org.

Plus our media critic Mary Dalton previews the 2009 River Run International Film Festival.
