Mitchell Gold & Bob Williams
Bookmark and Share

During April, Voices & Viewpoints with Denise Franklin is celebrating seven years of featuring conversations with some of the Piedmont's residents who are making a national and global impact.

Today, Denise sits down with expert salesman Mitchell Gold and furniture designer Bob Williams. They're co-founders of Mitchell Gold and Bob Williams Home--a company that creates and builds furniture with clean lines, bold colors and comfortable fabrics, mgandbw.com.

Their home furnishings can be found in Starbucks, Pottery Barn, Beyond Blue and hotels in the Ritz-Carlton chain across the country and around the world.

Mitchell and Bob also talk about their homosexuality and starting non-conventional business in the South. Mitchell also has a website, Faith In America, drawing public attention to how religion is used to promote the discrimination of homosexuals faithinamerica.info.

And he's the author of Crisis: Growing up Gay in America. Forty personal stories from well known individuals sharing their experiences of discovering their homosexuality and building a vibrant life.
