United By The Universe

StoryLine gives voice to everyday people throughout our community as they share the experiences that shape their lives. In this segment, film director and French national Sophie Mihalko relocated from New York City to Winston-Salem, where she met her husband, Ross Mihalko, a screenwriter. They believe their faith in the universe brought them together and empowered them to follow their dreams. StoryLine is a project of the ECHO network and is made possible by the generosity of Salemtowne, a continuing care retirement community, where every life shines and stories are celebrated.
On Real People, Real Stories, 88.5 WFDD brings you the thoughts and perspectives of North Carolinians who are in touch with their community and their world.

88.5 WFDD, the NPR® news and Triad Arts station broadcasting from Wake Forest University, is the only public radio station of its kind located in the Piedmont Triad. It broadcasts news, information, and public affairs programming covering the arts, people, and institutions in the area from both its Winston-Salem and Greensboro studios.

The state's charter NPR® member, 88.5 WFDD is the longest continuously broadcasting public radio station in North Carolina. It is a member of the North Carolina Public Radio Association.
