Peyton Hairston is the ninth child in a family of 11 and is descendant to one of the early teachers of Winston-Salem Teacher’s College, later named Winston-Salem State University.
This morning, Peyton describes to his son Gregory how he and his siblings were prepared early for education success.
Peyton Hairston lives in Winston-Salem. His son Gregory is an administrator at Winston-Salem State University and lives in Kernersville with his wife and family.
