Dr. Annette Pashayan Through poetry, Dr. Annette Pashayan chronicles her battle with breast cancer. She's teamed up with internationally acclaimed compser Ella Milch-Scheriff, who set the poems to original string music. The piece is called Songs from the Edge and has been performed internationally to inspire hope. Plus, our commentator Diana Greene comes out of the closet with a technology confession.

Dr. Gary Chapman Dr. Gary Chapman spent years helping couples one on one turn trouble relationships into something good. Now he teaches thousands of couples all over the world how to appreciate each other through by learning each other's communication style. He's written numerous books - the most famous is The Five Love Languages, published in 1992. It's sold more than 3.5 million copies and is translated into at least 34 languages. Carole Boston Weatherford She writes children's books, she's winning national awards, and her stories preserve history. Carole Boston Weatherford grew up in High Point and began writing poetry as a child. Now she's a professional author and has penned more than a dozen books. She won numerous national awards - her most decorated book is Moses: When Harriet Tubman Led Her People to Freedom, which landed on the New York Times Bestseller list and has won the Caldecott Honor, Correta Scott King and NAACP Image Awards.
