Mary M. Dalton
is Assistant Professor of Communication at Wake Forest University, where
she teaches film studies courses. Her reserach interest is critical media
studies. Mary's professional activities are wide-ranging, and include producing
documentaries and screenwriting.
Her book, The Hollywood Curriculum: Teachers and Teaching in the Movies,
has been published by Peter Lang Publishers, Inc. in the Counterpoints Series.

It broadcasts news, information, and public affairs programming covering the arts, people, and institutions in the area from both its Winston-Salem and Greensboro studios.
The state's charter NPR® member, 88.5 WFDD is the longest continuously broadcasting public radio station in North Carolina. It is a member of the North Carolina Public Radio Association.
