July 15th marks a milestone for the art world here in the Piedmont Triad.
Tonight (Thursday, July 15th) at 7:00 p.m. in Winston-Salem, the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art will unveil the results of nearly two years and 1.8 million dollars worth of renovation and restoration.
New signage, flooring, roofing, contemporary interior and exterior painting, and a state-of-the-art sound system installation in SECCA's newly renovated auditorium are among the many changes in store for the public.
SECCA Executive Director Mark Leach says the changes will allow SECCA to expand its mission as a center for the arts.
