The remnants of Friday's Winter storm in the Triad is still being felt by thousands. Duke Energy is reporting more than 64,000 outages across our state and one county is in a State of Emergency.

Residents in need of assistance are asked to call the American Red Cross' chapter in Henderson County at (828) 693-5605.
Henderson County is located beside Buncombe County.
