In 2004, the Boston Red Sox ended 86 years of frustration when they won baseball's crown jewel, the World Series. They did it again in 2007. But then the team fell off again.

WFDD's guest sports commentator Dave Goren is a lifelong Red Sox fan. He believes the team is giving their fans something to smile about this season.
