RENEE MONTAGNE, HOST:
Now for a correction. Earlier this week, in a story about new U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service rules, we stated there is a ban on the sale of the reticulated python and three other snake species - not so. The rules ban importation, transport across state lines and interstate sales. People can still buy and sell these snakes within a state. Transcript provided by NPR, Copyright NPR.
