The Ted Radio Hour  is a journey through the world of ideas: astonishing inventions, fresh approaches to old problems, and new ways to think and create.

Hosted by Guy Raz, it's based on talks given by speakers on the Ted stage, with each show centered on a common theme.

WFDD's Neal Charnoff recently talked with Guy Raz about the show, and the new season, which starts Saturday, March 7 at 2 p.m. on WFDD.

Raz says that The Ted Radio Hour is a place for listeners to find common ground and inspiration.

"We're talking about universal human issues," Raz says. "Happiness and compassion and love...what it means to be human".
