Police Investigate Bank Robbery in Winston-Salem

Winston-Salem Police are searching for a suspect involved in a Wednesday morning bank robbery.

Officers responded to the incident at 11:06 a.m. inside the Wells Fargo branch on 2925 Reynolda Road.

According to a news release issued by the WSPD, the suspect entered the bank and displayed a handgun. He demanded money and fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of currency.

The suspect is a black male in his 20s with a tattoo on his right hand. He was wearing a blue bandana with white designs, a gray hoodie with a white lining and black pants. A security camera inside the bank was able to capture several images of the suspect.

The suspect was last seen heading east towards a nearby apartment complex. 

No one was injured during the robbery.
