Here are the weather-related school closings and delays in the WFDD listening area, as of 5:50 pM:

--Guilford County Schools will dismiss 2 hours early

--Stokes County Schools will dismiss 2 hours early; after school activities have been cancelled

--Surry County Schools will close at 1:00 PM today

--Watauga County Schools are closed today

--Galax City Schools are closed today

--Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools has canceled all afternoon and evening activities today. The Board of Education's curriculum committee meeting and Parent Advisory Committee meeting have also been canceled.

-- UNC-Greensboro - all evening classes and events canceled.

The following classes and activities are being canceled, according to Greensboro City Arts:

- Caldcleugh Art Center - after school program canceled; other progams to go as scheduled.

- Dance Project - closing at 6:30 p.m. Adult classes canceled.

- Drama Center:

• Livestock Players Message in the Music postponed to Wednesday, 5-7 p.m.
