A new hub is shaping within the City of Arts and Innovation. "An incubator for entrepreneurial ventures and Do-It-Yourself culture," West End Mill Works has been steadily growing and investing in arts, crafts, and creative manufacturing since its first businesses opened in late 2013.

A mixed-use space, the renovated mill now houses everything from a Muay Thai facility, Hoots Roller Bar & Beer Co., to The Breathing Room, a center for yoga, expressive arts, and holistic care. Now joining the list is The Olio, a full service glassblowing studio and gallery.

The Olio is celebrating its Grand Opening all weekend. The festivities begin Friday, November 7th with a ribbon-cutting by Mayor Allen Joines, and on Saturday and Sunday, visitors can enjoy glassblowing demonstrations, food, live music, fire dancing, and more.

Hoots Flea Market will take place Saturday, November 8th from 11am-4pm, while the Breathing Room celebrates its one year anniversary from 5pm-9pm.
