Federal prosecutors are charging New York Mayor Eric Adams with bribery and fraud. Adams is alleged to have accepted bribes from wealthy foreign businesspeople and at least one Turkish government official.
Possible Change To Labor Law Ignites Controversy
Two Democratic lawmakers introduced legislation Tuesday that has stirred up a firestorm of debate between business interests and labor groups. The Employee Free Choice Act would amend existing labor law. If passed, workers could form a union if the majority of them sign cards requesting one.

Barack Obama is promising supporters that "change has come." After his historic election as the nation's first black president, Obama promised to be a president for all Americans — including those who voted against him. In Arizona, McCain told disappointed supporters, "The American people have spoken, and spoken clearly."
