There's a lot happening in old time string music these days.  This week, we catch up on some of the recordings that have come out in the last year or so.  We hear from master fiddlers Kilby Spencer, Jimmy Triplett and Jason Cade; a South Carolina-based band, The Battleaxe Band, with a rich and solid take on some classic old time songs; and a group of teenagers, the Moon Trotters, whose immense skill and enthusiasm take them to the moon and back style-wise, from traditional old time songs to experimental banjo riffs.  We'll also hear the occasional older recording sprinkled through the hour, for a great hour of listening.
