Police are looking for a suspect after the Republican Party headquarters in Alamance County was vandalized overnight.
Workers discovered the scene early this morning when they arrived at the headquarters on Ramada Rd. in Burlington. Among other things, they found expletives directed at the Trump campaign spray painted on the building.
No damage was reported inside. Surveillance video captured an image of the suspect dressed in a white hooded shirt and pants.
The North Carolina Republican Party is calling the incident an “act of political violence.” It's the second time this election that a GOP office in the state has been vandalized.
The Orange County GOP headquarters in Hillsborough was firebombed in October.
There are no suspects in that case, but authorities are still investigating.
