Cone Health is resuming full services at its hospitals, clinics, and doctor's offices. But patients and visitors can expect to see some changes.

A return to full service means that Cone Health is resuming all office visits, operations, tests, and procedures that have been delayed since mid-March, as the organization prepared for COVID-19.

New safety procedures include the placement of acrylic sheets between many employees and the public. All employees and patients must wear masks, and many caregivers will be required to wear face shields. Employees will undergo daily screenings, and people will be tested for coronavirus before being admitted or undergoing surgery.

Dr. Mary Jo Cagle is Cone Health's chief operating officer. She says in a news release that the Cone network has adequate supplies of PPE, and that COVID-19 cases remain manageable at the Green Valley hospital, which is the designated facility for coronavirus patients.

Visitor restriction policies will remain in place until further notice.
