Daredevil Sightseeing Prompts Safety Concerns At Oregon Landmark

Cape Kiwanda is an icon of the Oregon coast. Its sandstone cliffs and sandy dunes tower hundreds of feet over the Pacific Ocean. But the rugged beauty also tempts thrill-seekers to get too close to the edge. A half-dozen young adults have drowned or fallen to their deaths at Cape Kiwanda in the past two years.

Now, Oregon officials and community residents are brainstorming ways to make the cape a safer place. Chris Lehman of Northwest News Network reports.
