European Tax Debate Heats Up Over Google, Apple

Are American tech companies facing “discriminatory taxation” in Europe? That is what a bipartisan group of senators are calling it. They say that companies like Apple and Amazon are treated unfairly – getting taxed at higher rates than European companies – and they’re calling on the Obama administration to retaliate.
