Greensboro police look to spread holiday joy with gift-giving program

The Greensboro Police Department is partnering with the local community to deliver gifts to families and seniors this holiday season.

GPD is looking to bring some joy to those in need. Operation Yuletide is an initiative where officers deliver new clothing, toys and more to families.

The department will also bring essential household and hygiene products to a senior community. More than 50 families and 200 seniors are expected to benefit from the program.

The kick-off event for the initiative will be Wednesday between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. at the District 3 Warehouse on South Swing Road.
