Like many states, Texas relies on volunteer firefighters for protection. But the state has no minimum standards for how those firefighters are trained. That has some in Texas wondering if the lack of coordination has led to problems and even firefighter deaths. Dave Fehling from Here & Now contributor Houston Public Media looked into how a Texas tragedy nearly three years ago continues to raise questions about firefighter safety.
