With the new year just weeks away, we'd like to hear from our readers: What's a story that we should do to usher in 2017?

Is there a topic in the field of global health and development that you think we didn't pay enough attention to last year and that will loom large in the year ahead? Is there a small but important trend afoot?

You have until Tuesday, December 27 to submit your story idea. Then we'll pick a few and ask our audience to vote on their favorite.

At the beginning of January, we'll publish a post on the top topic. If your submission doesn't get picked, don't worry. The new year has only just begun, so we can tackle more of your proposals in the months ahead.
