A two-day dental, vision and medical services clinic is heading for the Piedmont Triad this weekend, and there will be no cost to patients.

The nonprofit providing the pop-up clinic is Remote Area Medical (RAM) based in Rockford, Tennessee. Founded in 1985, RAM has received a 95% rating from philanthropic guidance agency Charity Navigator.

Some of the services available this weekend will include dental cleanings, fillings and X-rays. Eye exams, women’s health services and general medical exams will be provided as well.

The free, two-day clinic begins on Saturday, June 1, at Forbush Middle School in East Bend. No ID is required. Services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. The patient parking lot will open by midnight Friday and remain open for the clinic’s duration.
