Since Google became Alphabet, the company that many know for its Internet browser and email services has been making some big changes, expanding and supporting its many ventures less known to the general public.

Things like life sciences research, smart home innovation and even quantum computing are being put front and center in an effort to redefine the Silicon Valley giant. Mark Bergen of Re/code joins Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson with a closer look at Alphabet.
