Casa Azul, under the proud fiscal sponsorship of Arts Greensboro, was begun in 2011 by a group of Latino professionals in the Greensboro area who saw the need to share the best parts of their respective cultures and to promote Latino arts throughout the entire Triad community. Casa Azul board member Addy Jeffrey is not an artist, but her family arrived here from Cuba, and she's heavily engaged in the Latino community, and excited to share Caribbean Night with Triad audiences.
Noche Caribena is Thursday night, May 15th at The Studio at Community Theatre in Greensboro, with live Caribbean music, authentic foods, Latino art on display and lots of dancing. Tickets are available in advance and at the door for 20 bucks.
